On the 30th of May, Great Suffolk Street will be closed to motor traffic between 11:00 to 16:00, creating a safe, fun, car-free space where you can play, walk, bike, run, or just relax and see your city in a whole new way.

The event will include an Arts Zone and we are looking for artists and performers to get involved. Please get in touch with your ideas – we’re up for anything from chalking on the pavement to creating installations, from puppet shows to live art.

Our budget is tight. We can cover travel expenses and lunch, probably not much more – but make a case for what you need and we’ll see what we can do.

Please contact If you want lunch and expenses, the deadline is the 28th of May.
